Edna Valley Wineries
DISPLAYING: 11" x 14" Fine Art Print
Edna Valley Wineries This print painted by artist Kerne Erickson depicts the view looking west from the Edna Valley Vineyard in the Edna Valley AVA. The Edna Valley AVA was established in 1982 and is situated east to west with the Santa Lucia Mountains bordering on the western end. There are over 22,000 planted acres of wine grapes. The valley is cooled by the influences of the ocean and fog. The ancient volcanic domes dot the western landscape. The soil has black humus and clay. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Viognier, Albarino, Merlot, Grenache & Teroldego are some of the grapes grown in this AVA.
